Covid19 precautions health and safety in place while on driving lessons

Government recently announced that driving tests will be able to carry on from June 2020.

Axis Driving School understands that your student may have concerns about health and safety carried out while having lessons. We know health is important to you and that you care about how your personal health.

We respect and value the health of everyone who visits this website, axisdriving.com (the "Site") and will try to protect you in ways that are described here, and in a way that is consistent with government guidance and the new normal.

The following is is what we are doing to protect you:

1.      Formal texts before first meeeting

In the the text you can ask and set your preferences:

"Health asking texts" Means we will encourage both you and the instructor to communicate about any potential flu like symptoms before meeting up.
For your peace of mind you should know that instructors will not take lessons if they are not feeling well or developing flu like symptoms.
"Set a dress code preference" Means you can tell us that you prefer us to wear disposable masks and gloves while on lessons.

2.      Cleanliness

We carry the following in our teaching cars before and after each lesson:

"Surfaces disinfectant" We clean all surfaces with alcohol.
"Alcohol hand gel" Instead of hand shakes we will introduce hand gel spraying.

We carry the following items and are available at your own request:

"Alcohol hand gel" At any time you can request to be sprayed.
"Card payments" means you will be able to make card payments instead of cash payments.

3.      Equipment

We carry the following in our teaching cars before and after each lesson:

"Masks" Means that we can provide disposable masks if you feel like wearing one.
"Gloves" Means that we can provide disposable gloves if you ask for it.
"Alcohol hand gel" Instead of hand shakes we will introduce hand gel spraying.

4.      Procedure

We have taken the following procedures in place:

"Card payments" Means you will be able to make card payments instead of cash payments, you can also pay online or e-transfer.
"No hand shakes" Hand shakes will be remove from our normal formalities.
"Windows open" When possible we will encourage to have the windows open for air flow ventilation.
